Healthcare Law: Are You Gonna Pay & Play?

I’ve been diligently looking for someone, who approves of this healthcare mess, to take care of my two Cocker Spaniels because it’s quite obvious I’m going to wind up in a federal prison!

Here’s the deal: I don’t like the healthcare mess that’s been imposed on me, my family and the majority of this nation who disapprove of it. I’m strongly anti-abortion and there’s no way this bill isn’t going to pay for abortions. I don’t like socialism so I no longer like my government as that’s now what we’ve got. I damned sure don’t like the idiot that caused this mess nor his henchmen. I literally sat in front of the television last night, watching C-Span, and shed tears but I won’t be crying anymore. Bottom line: stick a fork in me ‘cause I’m done.

I’m not gonna play and I’m not gonna pay – nor will I ever accept what’s going on. So, that kinda leaves me waiting for a knock on my door telling me that one of the 18,000 new IRS agents the government now has to hire to enforce this healthcare piece of crap, has come to take me to prison.

It’s a strange thing to live over 70 years believing one lives in the greatest nation on earth and nothing like this can every happen – and then it does! Perhaps I’ve been very naïve in the past but like so many others; this whole thing was beyond my imagination. The American people made it absolutely clear we disapproved of this healthcare bill and DID NOT want it. The powers that be passed it anyway. That indicates to me that not one American voice makes a whit of difference to these people. They’ve put us in a pen, shut the gate and are now doing as they damn well please – and will continue.

I fought a good fight to prevent the healthcare bill and now I’m going to fight even harder to go against everything that’s in it. If anyone hears of a penny of my hard-earned money going into the pot for this thing be sure and send a sympathy card to my son because I’m dead and someone stole my purse!

Socialism -- First Step!

The big thing that has to happen for socialism to get a good hold is to control the middle class. That’s the biggest segment of the population and once they’re needy and dependent the rest is a piece of cake because they’re defeated. The middle class, as of passage of the healthcare bill, is now dependent. The snowball has been formed and it’s gonna get bigger and bigger. Unless I live to be 110 I’m not gonna be here to see all this transpire but transpire it will if it’s not stopped right now.

There’s nothing in the U.S. Constitution that says the government can force anyone to become a consumer of anything – that’s what’s happened. Yet if I refuse to buy-in the IRS can fine me, and eventually put me in prison, if I don’t change my sorry ways. Get the cuffs, boys – ain’t gonna happen. The sun will never rise on a day that I contribute a penny to fund abortion and that’s what this amounts to. It’s a fact – the president doesn’t have the authority to do what he promised these rubes, including the turn-coat Mr. Stupak, where abortion funding is concerned. The sorry, egotistical sucker just doesn’t have that much power – yet, at least! He can sign his name ‘til his pen runs dry and his mouth won’t open but that’s the way it is.

I understand some states, including my own Texas, have filed suit against the government claiming states rights and everything else. That will be interesting to watch and it will go on for a long time but it’s going to be business as usual in Washington, D.C. and one way or another they’re going to prevail – legally or illegally – whatever it takes. They’ve already done it!

As Americans we’ve always had majority rule in elections, etc. Trust me, dear hearts, I had to suck it up real good when this president took office but if he was the majority’s choice that’s just the way it was. No more! The majority of Americans did not want this healthcare bill and now they disapprove of the man sitting in the oval office and are very, very unhappy. Right there’s enough for me to quit going along with Washington, D.C. They are not speaking or acting for the majority of Americans and I’m one of that majority.

Forget it -- it ain't gonna happen!

It kinda boils down to where one stands – and so far, we can all still make that choice. I’m standing against this whole "Obamanation" we’ve got in Washington and not going to do one damned thing to aide and abet them. The sheep that want to join Obama’s flock can be led to slaughter on someone else’s dollar but not this old lady’s! If I wind up being the "uninformed" example so be it! So far anything I’ve gotten from the government I paid in and it’s gonna continue to be that way. If "pride cometh before a fall" looks like I’m in a downward spiral.

All things being equal; I really don’t think I’m standing out here alone.
